Aims and Objectives – Weak Defender Social Foundation
Aim
To safeguard the dignity and well‑being of vulnerable populations by delivering timely humanitarian assistance, building resilient communities, and fostering sustainable development, so that no individual is left without the support needed to survive and thrive.
Objectives
1. Rapid Humanitarian Response – Mobilize and deploy emergency relief teams within 48 hours of a disaster or conflict to provide essential services such as shelter, food, clean water, and medical care to at least 10,000 people each year.
2. Protection of At‑Risk Groups – Establish safe‑space programmes for women, children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities, ensuring that 90 % of beneficiaries report increased safety and access to protection services.
3. Health and Nutrition – Operate mobile health clinics that deliver primary healthcare, maternal services, immunisations, and psychosocial support to a minimum of 25,000 individuals annually, with a focus on reducing preventable disease mortality by 15 % in target areas.
4. Livelihood Restoration and Economic Empowerment – Provide cash assistance, vocational training, and micro‑enterprise support to 5,000 households per year, aiming for a 70 % rise in household income within twelve months of programme completion.
5. Disaster‑Risk Reduction and Climate Resilience – Conduct community‑based risk assessments and implement climate‑smart infrastructure projects in at least 30 villages, decreasing local vulnerability to hazards by 20 % and enhancing long‑term adaptive capacity.
6. Capacity Building and Local Ownership – Train and mentor 200 community volunteers and leaders each year, creating a self‑sustaining network capable of leading and maintaining humanitarian initiatives after the Foundation’s direct involvement ends.
7. Transparency and Accountability – Publish quarterly impact reports, maintain an open‑book financial system, and achieve a donor‑satisfaction rate of 95 % or higher, ensuring resources are used efficiently and effectively.
8. Strategic Partnerships – Forge collaborations with government agencies, UN bodies, academic institutions, and other NGOs to expand reach, share expertise, and secure additional funding, targeting a 30 % annual growth in joint programme implementation.
These aims and objectives guide the Weak Defender Social Foundation’s work toward a world where crises are met with swift, dignified, and lasting support, empowering communities to stand resilient on their own.
